YellowBird Terminology

Understanding our terminology is important for our customers, as it facilitates effective communication, enhances customer experience and ensures that individuals we work with can navigate and engage with our platform's features.

To start, we have three different types of jobs that we reference; Job, Extended Pro Placement, and Programs. They range from time frame, payment schedule and more.

Job

  • 1-80 Hours (up to two weeks)
  • Payments for "Jobs" can be expected to our Pros within 48 business hours from the completion of their work.

Extended Pro Placement

  • Scheduled for a minimum of 90 days, with consistent hours and scheduling.
  • The onboarding process for our Pros on an "Extended Pro Placement" role may include an interview process prior to being matched directly with our customers.
  • Pro payments for an "Extended Pro Placement" will be set up on a reoccurring bi-weekly basis depending on the start date of the placement.

Programs

  • A Program is when YellowBird works with a customer on multiple "Jobs" in multiple locations and/or on a recurring basis. For example, if YellowBird were to work with a major insurer to provide OSHA Mock Assessments to a major retailer at 150 locations nationwide, that would be considered a "Program."
  • YellowBird Pros can expect to be paid within the same terms of a "Job," within 48 business hours of completion of work.

Additional YellowBird information to remember:

  • An "Organization" or "Org" is how we reference the companies and customers that we work with.
  • A “Pro” or "Professional" is how we reference the individuals that work with us to complete the jobs provided by the Organizations.
  • “Match Ready” means that a Pro has completed the entire onboarding process, and is officially eligible to begin receiving job opportunities.
