At YellowBird, we have a few key terms that are important for you to understand, as you will consistently hear and see them throughout your time with us.
To start, we have three different types of jobs that we reference; Job, Extended Pro Placement, and Programs. They range from time frame, payment schedule, and more.
Job
- 1-80 Hours (up to two weeks)
- Payments for "Jobs" can be expected within 48 business hours from the completion of work
Extended Pro Placement
- 81+ Hours
- Onboarding process for "Extended Pro Placement" role may include an interview process prior to being matched with an Organization
- Payments for an "Extended Pro Placement" will be set up on a reoccurring payment schedule discussed and agreed upon between the YellowBird Pro, and the Organization
Programs
- A Program is when YellowBird sells an Organization on multiple "Jobs" in multiple locations and/or on a recurring basis. For example, if YellowBird were to sell a major insurer on OSHA Mock Assessments to a major retailer across 150 locations nationwide, that would be considered a "Program"
- YellowBird Pros can expect to be paid within the same terms of a "Job," within 48 business hours of completion of work
Additional YellowBird information to remember:
- An "Organization" or "Org" is how we reference the companies and customers that we work with
- A “Pro” or "Professional" is how we reference the individuals that work with us to complete the jobs provided by the Organizations
- “Match Ready” will be frequently heard throughout the entire Pro onboarding process. Match Ready simply means that a Pro has completed the entire onboarding process, and is officially eligible to begin receiving job opportunities and invitations to educational opportunities
